Revitalised mare Solicit has thrived in the rural environment at trainer Gerald Ryan's Hawkesbury complex ahead of her bid for a Group One win in the Tattersall's Tiara on Saturday.

Ryan believes the four-year-old is a great advertisement for his decision to invest in a 23-box satellite stable at Hawkesbury last year.

Solicit was being considered for retirement after she ran last at Randwick in March.

Then Ryan sent her to Hawkesbury for a change of scenery, a move that has turned her form around.

She has since won the Darley Crown at Rosehill and finished runner-up to stablemate Peace Force in the Glenlogan Park Stakes at her most recent start at Doomben on May 23.

"Solicit seemed to have lost her way a bit before we got her but going out to Hawkesbury has really seen her turn around," Ryan said.

"She has worked well and been freshened up on the water walker."

Solicit has won five races and placed seven times for earnings of almost $780,000.

A victory in Saturday's $500,000 race will push her past a prize money milestone.

"She will go past $1 million in prize money if she wins on Saturday," Ryan said.

"Strangely, her only two bad runs were at the Randwick 1600 metres.

"When she ran last over the 1600 metres at Randwick in March we decided to send her to Hawkesbury and she then won a trial in good fashion.

"It was then we decided to set out sights on Queensland."

Ryan said no decision would be made on Solicit's racing future until after Saturday.

"Her owners have about 50 broodmares and they are in no rush to have another one," he said.

"If she races well in the Tiara she might race on for another season."

Solicit has drawn barrier seven and will be ridden by Tye Angland.

The trainer also has Estonian Princess in the Tiara and expects her to run an improved race from a good barrier in two.

She will be ridden by Paul Hammersley who won the 2002 Queensland Oaks for Ryan on Mon Mekki.

A field of 16 plus four emergencies has been declared for the Tatt's Tiara with the Gai Waterhouse-trained Najoom second reserve.

Stradbroke Handicap winner Srikandi will have her work cut out from barrier 20 while bonny mare Avoid Lightning has drawn the rails.

Lumosty, unplaced as favourite in the Stradbroke, has gate 10.
