Doncaster penalty for Godolphin import

Godolphin import It's Somewhat has attracted a one kilogram penalty for next month's $3 million Doncaster Mile.

The John O'Shea-trained horse was penalised for his Group Three win in the Liverpool City Cup at Warwick Farm on Saturday.

It takes his weight for the Doncaster to 51.5kg.

Stablemate Contributer was not eligible to be penalised for his Group One win on the same program, although his Chipping Norton Stakes victory gained him a ballot exemption for the feature mile run on the opening day of The Championships at Randwick.
