Promising filly Queen Of Kariba will lead a contingent of horses which will figure in a make-or-break Magic Millions Guineas bid at Randwick on Thursday.

Queen Of Kariba is rated borderline at best to make the field after the latest order of entry for the $1 million race.

It's the same circumstance for Choice We Had, the Peter and Paul Snowden-trained three-year-old which clashes with Queen Of Kariba in the Drummond Golf Handicap (1400m).

Similarly, the Chris Waller-trained Kipling and Gai Waterhouse's Bayrock can put themselves into the Guineas picture should they break through in the TAB Place Multi Plate.

Trainer John Sargent said Queen Of Kariba deserved a shot at the Guineas despite missing out on the placings in three starts since a first-up win during the Newcastle Gold Cup carnival.

"She has been running nice races without a lot of luck but hopefully she can put that behind her on Thursday," Sargent said.

Queen Of Kariba and Choice We Had met in the Wyong Magic Millions 3YO Stakes won by Aerobar at their most recent runs.

Choice We Had finished fourth with Queen Of Kariba a length behind when sixth.

"She had to go wide at Wyong and by the time she balanced up the leaders got away from her and hopefully we'll get a better run at Randwick," Sargent said.

Sargent expects Queen Of Kariba's style of racing to help her chances at her first start beyond 1400m.

"The way she has been running home in her races makes you think she won't have a problem with the distance," he said.

Seven stayers have stood their ground for the feature race - the Listed Tattersalls Club Cup.

Waller's 2014 winner Permit has been left as the 58kg topweight after the premier Sydney trainer decided not accept with Summer Cup winner I'm Imposing.

But Waller's best chances for a hat-trick of Tattersalls Club Cup wins is likely to rest with Multilateral.

Multilateral ran an even race in the Summer Cup but he seems to favourably weighted with 0.5kg over the minimum as the winner of the Wyong Gold Cup earlier in the season.
