Full sister to dam of this filly was top lot broodmare ( empty ) at the Fasig - Tipton sale when purchased by Leading bloodstock identity Dr William Lockridge for $340K , he being the founder of leading US stud Ashford Stud , one of the first to take up breeding shares in the Secretariat syndicate , and at one stage owning the 1st three dams of Storm Cat , so suffice to say he's got some idea .

"She is very correct,” said Lockridge, a real estate broker who founded Ashford Stud, which is now owned by Coolmore Stud. “I wish she was a little bigger, but she is very well made. The mares I’ve had success with were mares that could run. That’s one of the criteria that I look for, and they also have to be out of one of the blue hen families ( this comment made well before ALPHA had even raced ) , which this mare certainly is."
