Description

A beautifully bred filly with all the physical attributes to match.
The filly is a good boned strong athletic type with a great shoulder and a goodhead. We have partnered up with champion trainer Peter Moody who will prepare the filly for racing.

Denman x Princess Bayley was entered for the 2014 Inglis Melbourne Premier Sale and made the select session.
The progeny of Denman averaged $160,000 (excluding GST) at the 2014 Gold Coast Magic Millions Yearling Sale. Many good judges were impressed when they inspected the filly as a yearling. We were so enthused by her temperament that we decided to retain her for racing.

Her dam Princess Bayley is by Kentucky Derby winner FUSAICHI PEGASUS who is regally bred.
Princess Bayley is the full sister of Danpegi who is the dam of stakes winner ROSE OF CHOICE who looks a promising staying prospect, which is being raced by the connections of Melbourne Cup winner DORIEMUS. Her half-sister Lauradane is stakes placed and has been retired to stud.

DENMAN is a first season stallion with impeccable bloodlines. His sire LONHRO is a champion sire in his own right, producing the likes of champion 2 year old PIERRO, and Group 1 winners BEADED, BOUNDING, MENTAL, BENFICA, and DENMAN. LONHRO is the best son of champion sire OCTAGONAL.

DENMAN’s progeny are in high demand on the back of his first season racing crop leaving a great impression on the race track. Denman has had 6 runners which include stakes winner LAW, stakes placed filly Piacenza, and Pinch River who trounced her rivals by 6 lengths at Eagle Farm. LAW is being prepared by the Queen of the Turf Gai Waterhouse and is being aimed at Australia’s premier 2 year old race; the Golden Slipper.

The filly was conceived in the Hunter Valley and born at Noor Elaine Farm in Victoria. She is eligible for BOBS (Breeder Owner Bonus Scheme) in New South Wales which provides lucrative financial bonuses to connections of thoroughbred race horses. The filly is also
nominated (financial) for Super Vobis and Super Vobis Gold bonus schemes in Victoria, which also provides financial bonuses for thoroughbred race horse owners in Victoria.

Moody Racing has racing stables in New South Wales and Victoria which provides our filly with the rare opportunity to earn bonuses in both states. Moody Racing will be able to assess racing schedules in both states and program her campaigns accordingly. The flexibility of being eligible for both bonus schemes has her well placed to maximise prize money earned.

We are looking for racing partners to get involved with 5% ownership available at $5,000 (plus GST). The price includes payment for the Super Vobis bonus scheme, breaking in, agistment, training fees, floating, and minor vet bills until 31 May 2014.
