Trevannah

Trevannah

A long history of experience

The farm has been established by Denis Roberts, one of Australia's most experienced bloodstock agents and stud managers to embrace the best in rearing & growing facilities for developing young thoroughbred horses.

The property had to be planned from scratch as it was basically one paddock without roads, house and services. This was in some ways of a positive as it allowed Denis to plan a property to suit a flow of horses to the central work station and set out good size paddocks with safe fencing, in most cases tree lanes and double fencing between each paddock.

Safety Mission

Denis spent considerable time and expense setting Trevannah up to rear his horses in a safe paddock environment that flows throughout the farm to include facilities equal to the best in the hunter.

Growth Monitoring

A distinct point of difference at Trevannah is that Denis personally oversees the development of young horses through the practice of monthly weighing, height measurement and condition scoring. Diets are then re-adjusted by our consulting Nutritionist. Denis use professionals at every level of horse husbandry and farm management. At Trevannah, a Nutritionist monitors their diets for all classes of horse on the farm and also assists with their growth tracking of foals, weanlings and ultimately through to sale of yearlings.

Your inspections are welcomed of the 600 acres of quality undulating, picturesque horse and cattle country located in the Upper Hunter Valley at Blandford in a safe 32" rainfall area.
