Cyberhorse Bloodstock

Cyberhorse Bloodstock is Australia's newest racehorse syndicator although its principal Bill Saunders has over 30 years experience in the racing industry as an enthuiast, breeder and journalist.

In developing the business plan for Cyberhorse Bloodstock, we have observed several principles which we believe are not only important to encourage people to get involved as an owner but critical to keeping them interested and growing their fascination with racing.

Our guiding principles:

  • Quality horses. We believe that it is not necessary to pay hundreds of thousands of dollars to get a good racehorse. By focussing on issues like proper initial education and development combined with training even modestly priced horses can have as good a chance as the bluebloods.
  • Keep the costs down. By providing lease syndicates divided into 20 shares we make the initial outlay and ongoing running costs very affordable.
  • Free replacement offer. If your horse has no racing ability or gets injured we'll replace it so that you get full value from your three year lease.
  • Top trainers. It costs little more to use a proven trainer and their strike rate and professionalism makes all the difference between enjoyment and frustration for a horse's owners.
  • Communication. Most trainers know that there are only so many ways to tell you that your horse is still alive today. Our mission is to liven up those boring weekly messages with extra information which an owner may not otherwise know. We believe that an owner can never know too much about his horse.
  • Fully regulated. We are properly regulated by the Australian Securities and Investment Commission and its Lead Regulator, Racing Victoria. All offers to the public are in the form of a registered Product Disclosure Statement. All funds are maintained in syndicate trust accounts which are audited annually.
  • Equine welfare. As the founder of the Racehorse Outplacement Program in 2010 we believe strongly in looking after our horses in retirement as well as when they are racing.
  • Engagement. We recognise that racehorses spend a lot of time standing around in paddocks and doing pre-training with little racing action. Our Hearts Racing concept allows Cyberhorse Bloodstock clients to share in the excitement of following all the horses in our team, meaning that there is always something going on.
  • Online administration. By fully utilising internet technology we aim to reduce operating costs while making it as easy as possible for clients to use our services.

These principles have been developed over many years and Cyberhorse Bloodstock is the end result.

We hope you enjoy your involvement with us.
