Woodwinds Farm
We are a friendly family owned and operated thoroughbred stud located in the picturesque Numinbah Valley which is tucked away in the Gold Coast Hinterland yet still only 30 minutes from the Gold Coast Turf Club and "Racing in Paradise".
At Woodwinds Farm our policy is to give high quality care to each and every equine on our farm and outstanding service to our clients at all times.
We encourage clients to visit their mares and offspring regularly, and at the same time to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet offered by our stunning valley. Our goal is to create positive long term client relationships, and to share our unique and beautiful natural environment with all visitors to the farm.

Numinbah Valley is a spectacular and beautiful natural area, with 20 Million year old rock formations, rainforests, waterfalls and caves. Glow worms can be seen every night in the famous cave at Natural Bridge. Here on the farm you can always enjoy fresh clean air and magnificent views of the valley and the surrounding World Heritage areas.

Our People
Woodwinds Performance Horses is owned and run by Shannon and Rebecca Bates, who are both horse enthusiasts that share the same passions for breeding quality horses for racing and for performance. They have a string of quality thoroughbreds and warmbloods that they compete regularly thoughout Queensland and Interstate in Showjumping, Dressage, Eventing and Showing.
