RANCHO RELAXO definitely has the pedigree to be special and with 2 wins and 5 placings from 14 starts is well on his way.


He is by Champion Group One producer STREET CRY, sire of the mighty 12 time G1 winner WINX who looks destined to take the crown from Street Cry's US Champion ZENTATTA with 13 G1 wins.


His dam MAJESTIC MUSIC is a 2 x Group Two, 2 x Group Three and 2 x Listed winner from 1200m to 1600m who possessed a sizzling sprint. Her dam was full sister to Group One winner SERIOUS SPEED who also had an explosive turn of foot.


Rancho Relaxo's first 3 runs this preparation were all quality finishing 2nd 3rd and 1st respectively from 1200 to 1600m in the SA Provincials.


He has raced at Metro level in his last 4 starts, ridden forward over 1550m and 1600m and rearward over 1800m and 2100m on a soft6 and Heavy9 and possibly looks best from 1200m to 1800m when allowed to settle into his own rhythm.


He won his trial over 1200m on the 14th July defeating multiple metro winner Lord Topper by 0.5L with 3rd place a further 7 lengths behind.
