DARENAY is a well put together, lightly raced Gelding by CANFORD CLIFFS out of a HIGH CHAPARRAL Mare. His 3rd Dam PHONE CHATTER was a Champion 2YO Filly in the USA, excelling from 1100m to 1700ms.


DARENAY has had: 12 Starts - 1 Win - 1 x 2nd - 2 x 3rd - and 9 top 5 finishes!!


Last start he WON impressively at Albury over 1175ms 03/02 on a Soft5 coming from the back of the field, having to check off heels and hitting the long for a dominant win! (Please watch the video attached, Black and White colours)


2 starts prior he ran 3rd on a heavy9, getting through the ground well and making a good run from the back of the field.


He has placed on a Good4, over 1400ms at Casterton VIC, but he does seem to do his best work with the sting out of the ground.


He had a big spell early in his career when he was younger and his previous owner/trainer said he had tipped him in and out two for shin soreness.


Darenay stands at approx 16hh, has a good temperament and easy to do anything with.


His Trainer feels that Darenay would benefit from having his fetlock cortisoned but the owner has decided to move him on.


He is a NSW BM 50.
