This stunning brown/black mare is in full work having had 4 runs back from a spell so plenty left in tank this time to reclaim your money. Standing 16.3 hands this well bred mare catches the eye around any track and she has shown enough ability to say she will work through her provincial grades and possibly in town. This campaign she hasnt had much luck , first up she bombed the start before making up many lengths and working home ok and was caught wide second up on the pace over 1200 at Morphettville. Her 2 runs over the mile she hasnt seen the rail in either and not quite finished it off. This lightly raced mare is completely sound and whilst still learning the game has had 4 top 5 finishes on Vic provincials. Her breeding from the family of SPIRIT OF KINGSTON suggests she may get over ground and as she has only had 10 starts and only been out to 1600 for the first time this time in so her best is in front of her. Selling as a yearling for $35k from dam Coup de Maitre ( half sister to VRC Sires Produce winner COUP DE GRACE ) who has 4 other foals to race , 3 winners , and whose 6th foal sold at 2012 yearling sales for $90k she has good potential for breeding when you have finished racing her.
Looking for a change in setting she will definitely win races particularly if trained in a country setting with a hands on trainer. Unfortuntely not a situation that suits our current owners set up so reluctantly on the market.
