(GST status not known)
Alcopop is a filly who has shown enough galloping ability to win at Cranbourne one of the best tracks outside of the city in Victoria.
Lightly raced, she has just had the four starts, her win came in 2011. She beat home a field that included a number of subsequent winners. Despite a couple of runs out of form, she has since put in an improving run for fifth at her last start.
By the Melbourne Cup winner Jeune, who proved himself as a Group 1 sire and is now a Group 1 broodmare sire, Alcopop Lass hails from a fantastic family. A half sister to the stakes winner Sporting Scribe she is one of seven winner her dam produced.
Further back in her pedigree one of Australia's greatest ever racehorses, the triple Cox Plate winner Kingston Town appears. It is worth noting that this family has recently produced a stakes winner through the deeds of Deer Valley.
She is an attractive mare, with a beautiful chestnut coat. She is big in stature and stands with a lot of presence.
A racing and breeding proposition, this mare looks ideal for new owners looking to pick up a cheque or two on the racetrack who may wish to breed post racing career.
