AJANI is a very athletic horse with an explosive turn of foot and an imposing physical presence standing at 16.1hh and 501kg. Well conformed and beautifully balanced, AJANI looks every bit the part of a horse that can add to his already impressive career earnings of over $200,000.


AJANI is currently spelling following a short racing campaign that saw him pick up another minor placing, running second at Mudgee on the 19th May.


Still a 4YO, there is certainly still plenty of racing upside to this impressive gelding and he is eligible for the Magic Millions race series.


With speed and quality in his breeding AJANI's ability simply reflects his pedigree. Sired by the one of the most consistent produces of colonial toughness and speed in Choisir, he is out of the winning Anabaa mare Africaine. A 7 time winner herself she has produced 7 foals to race, all of which are winners, including Anatomica who is the full sister to AJANI. Having won three races Anatomica placed second in the Group 2 Reisling Stakes and 4th in the Golden Slipper.


AJANI scored his most significant win to date, getting the money in the $242,500 Magic Millions Maiden Plate. He has managed to place at 53% of his career starts.
