Description

Both 3yr old fillies these have come highly recommended. As you will see below both have form around some high class Group equivalent horses in Europe and should they just hold or maintain that form then the future is going to be very exciting. One point to note though is that both have only had short preparations which would suggest they are going to be even better once they get some racing under their belts. Kris Lees has inspected them and from what he has seen physically they should mature and improve in our warmer climate.

We have decided to offer these fillies as a Two Horse package.

Horse 1 : SISTER EARTH

This 3yr Filly By Galileo has some impeccable form and we where quite prepared to pay double than what we paid.. As you can see her pedigree is sensational being from a Group 1 Placed Spectrum mare who herself is related to the very good filly TIME AWAY. She had 1 race only as a 2yr old and ran 3rd . Timeform recorded her effort as the following

Sister Earth was clueless at the start, missing the break badly and giving away several lengths. Very green, she stayed on from off the pace to take an unlikely third and looks sure to benefit considerably from the outing. A daughter of Galileo out of a filly who was second in the Prix de Diane, she won´t be seen at her best until she tackles middle distances next season.

On her 1st run this time in - she raced first up over 2400m and ran 3rd after looking to knock up condition wise ( its no wonder !!) She was obviously highly thought of starting 9/4fav . Interestingly the winner of this race has raced very well in very high grade since and is a Listed Winner :

Her 2nd race and First Up Performance as a 3yr Old Filly :Sister Earth looked interesting up to a trip in line with her pedigree, on this first run for nearly six months, but was done for lack of pace in a race run at just an moderate gallop

Her 2nd up run ( 3rd Career run) was also run at 2400m and this run was also very impressive. She ran into a horse who has excellent form around some of the UK's best handicappers. Whilst she ran second she really stayed on well and this was a impressive run considering the winner is thought very highly of and was for sale for a reported $700,000 Aud . She was also ridden upside down adding further merit to her run

Her last run(2400m) was possibly her best and was a very good sign that she has continued to improve each and every run. The winner was impressive and reported for sale for $600,000 AUD and has since gone on to race against some very good class of horse and its expected she will be a Group class filly next preparation. The second horse has sold for $200,000 AUD only last week.

Interestingly the stable actually had a number of Group 1 nominations entered for this filly - however she proved to be a touch too "green" and they decided not to push her at the time.

As you can see by the comments this Galileo filly has some excellent form around her and was and is highly thought of ,and being so inexperienced will have a lot of upside and scope. The fact she gets a strong 2400m will give us a very distinct advantage once she matures and races for us. If she can earn Black type she will be extremely valuable . Being a maiden she will be easy to place and will avoid the handicapper .

The 2nd Horse- HOUSE RIGHT

Is very interesting - like sister Earth she has a very strong international black type family. Owned by one of the biggest owners in the world in Juddmonte Farms this filly has only had 1 small preparation.. She raced first up in France over 1600m and won very well. The 2nd placed horse then stepped out and won and placed in some very strong LISTED races immediately after this run. HOUSE RIGHT was reportedly very green but full of ability. She was then sent out and raced over 1600m in conditions that where rated very Soft . Speaking to our contacts they believe it would be considered a track that Australia won't race on. Then her last run again she didn't handle it as it was reported to be bottomless. She is reported to have a very good turn of foot and simple can't let down on these very wet tracks - which shouldn't worry us too much . Being by Beat Hollow who was a 2000m horse who won 6 from 11 and his last 4 runs being G1 wins out of a Nashwan Mare (2000m) we believe she will easily get a strong 2000m plus.

Kris plans to take these fillies through their grades but they have been bought specifically to race over the staying trips and to race in the city races. With the good stakes form around them we are then hoping they will mature and develop into Group performed horses out here and then naturally will be sought after broodmare propositions. Kris plans to put them straight into work for a small preparation where they may have just a few runs and then give them a small break to let them acclimatise . Interesting to note that in our discussions with other trainers who have bought these European horses they believe with our climate and once they acclimatise that the horses improve out of sight if handled right.

They will be leaving for Australia on the 20th of January and will arrive at Eastern Creek Sydney on the 22nd of January. From here they will go to Kris Lee's Ellalong Farm.

Australian Bloodstock and Kris Lees will retain a share in these fillies and are seeking racing partners to join us in this exciting venture.

Priced from just $4800 these are highly attractive horses with real upside
