With 65 winners from just his first 100 runners, including an amazing SEVEN stakes winners already, TAVISTOCK is doing what only the very best stallions can.


Already the sire of VOLKSTOK’N’BARRELL (G1 Rosehill Guineas), TARZINO (G1 VRC Derby), WERTHER (G2 ARC Championship) and HASSELHOOF (G2 ARC Rich Hill Mile) to name a few.


TAVISTOCK is also the sire of the very exciting TAVAGO, who is bred on the same direct cross as our filly, also being out of a STRAVINSKY mare and already a G3 winner and further stakes placed from his first 4 starts.


Our filly’s is the 2nd foal from Stravinsky mare Keep Smiling, a winner over 2000m and half sister to stakes placed multiple winner CHESHIRE (won to 2100m). Her 2nd dam is the super staying mare SMILING LIKE, who was crowned Champion Stayer in New Zealand winning both the time honoured Group 1 Wellington Cup and the New Zealand Cup too. It’s a high quality NZ staying pedigree that only gets better as you go down the page, and this one includes the G1 winners SIRSTACI (9 wins to 1600m) and NIMUE (dual G1 winner and joint NZ filly of the year) and a host of other stakes-winners too numerous to mention here.


Importantly, another aspect of this filly’s pedigree is that it’s already a proving producing family at this generation. Keep Smiling’s half sister Balbeel has produced the 5 time winner BEL SORRISO, who recently ran 2nd in the G3 Trentham Stakes and as we put pen to paper is G1 Auckland Cup bound, a fact that can only improve our filly’s pedigree further.
