3rd Feb- Breaker comments: You have one here - she is a bit of a bitch but she gives an amazing feel and has some real quality. One of the best I have broken in in many a year"

WHY We Loved Her....

1.She has an extremely intelligent eye and huge nostrils. Intelligence is something that only good horses have with plenty of airways for breathing. This is a very common trait amongst racing elite horses. The nostrils are a physical thing that is a must as
without the capacity to breathe in huge amounts of air then that can restrict them and their speed. A study has also been done linking big nostrils or air ways with big lungs . Its often a area over looked.!!!!

2. Again touching on the intelligence issue – this filly was extremely sensible and cool. She wasn’t flighty or easily stirred up and again this is a good sign showing she can handle pressure.

3. Agility. The key thing that most people will pick up when inspecting her was the most amazing fluid walk and follow through with her action. She “overstepped” by at least 15-20cm and again this is the sign of a fast speed horse who is agile. For example this overstep business can be a sign of being fast and light on ones feet. You only have to look at a Panther or cheetah and watch them walk and they all have this amazing
overstep. Basically to describe it its where their front foot lands you note the spot on the ground where their hind leg follows through. In this case it was a good 15-20cm which is quite rare in horses and it shows she has a good walk and propulsion from behind.
4. Also in confirmation point of view you will notice the long forearm and short cannons. This is another sign of speed and is what we are looking for

Pedigree wise if we look at the Sire NOT A SINGLE DOUBT we see his best horses have been Fillies – such as Mircales of Life, Villa Verde , Gypsy Diamond,Karuta
Queen just to name a few and this common factor above is all these
horse went very quickly and early – which is what is needed to win the
Magic Millions and then Hopefully the Golden Slipper of Blue Diamond . The
family on the Dam side is full of fast horses plus genuine Group 1 horses
and we see a number of Sires and good producers in this family.
The cross on the pedigree works with a 75% Runners to Winners stat which
is terrific.

Having climbed the mountain winning this year’s Melbourne Cup with Protectionist we have decided expand our business and have a real crack at winning some of the money on offer in our 2yo races in Australia

We have long held the view that most of our competitors have adopted a ‘scattered’ approach, only buying horses by stallions that they regard ‘sexy’ and therefore easy to sell. In most cases irrespective of the horses physical attributes etc.
We have taken a different approach and tried to increase our chances of success by looking at, in this case what has been successful in the past when assessing past Magic Millions success stories.
Specifically fillies have had a great strike rate, early foals, and in particular natural athletic early runners. This was therefore a priority, as well as buying out of 2yo families in most instances.
We have tried to keep the costs to a minimum with our commission for our time, which includes the management of the horse for its entire racing life.
Australian Bloodstock oppose management fees and advertising the yearling shares at your expense. These are costs that we will absorb

WHY RACE WITH US
• Since inception the business group of horses it owns or manages averages 24.90% runners to winners. No other syndicator is close to the this mark and its for this reason we are the most successful Syndicator in Australasia. In fact most syndicators don’t even advertise their strike rate and you know why that this !!
• Since inception we have averaged a Group Winner or placegetter every single month for a strike rate of 52.3%
• Australian Bloodstock expects and plans for success not hopes for it !
• We don’t charge advertising fees
• We don’t charge management fees
• We don’t charge out our office and admin costs to owners
• Our commissions are nowhere near our competitors
• We Can afford to do all this as we race horses that actually make us money not cost us money
• We spend our own money and invest in all horses offered and hence have a common goal of success
• We never race a horse just for the sake of running it.
• We only want city horses and success and offer a “get out of jail Card” whenever possible on our young horses- where if they don’t cut the mustard then they are traded to Asia
• The communication from our Trainers, Kris Lees and David Payne is second to none
• The average training bill for one of our horses is 30-40% cheaper than most others
• Honesty is a big thing with us- you will also get told exactly how things are shaping up
