NOT A SINGLE DOUBT, by illustrious sire REDOUTE’S CHOICE is out of SINGLES BAR, a half sister to esteemed racehorse and subsequent Champion Sire and Broodmare sire SNIPPETS. From a limited 10 start career NASD showed both speed and precocity, winning his first 3 starts as a 2YO including the Listed Canonbury S. before finishing 0.8L behind DANCE HERO in the Magic Millions 2YO Classic where both horses eclipsed the race record. An injury in the G2 Todman S. cut short a potentially brilliant 2YO campaign but he resumed as a 3YO to win the Listed Zedative Stakes and was then runner-up in the G3 Schweppes Cup (to SHINZIG). NOT A SINGLE DOUBT was generally regarded as a G1 winner in the waiting before retiring to stud as a 3YO.


It is at stud, however, that NASD has truly excelled. Crowned 2009 Champion Australian First Season Sire (by winners), NASD now boasts 21 individual Stakes Winners including 8 2YO winners and 9 Group winners. NASD was a fast sprinter and all his good horses jump and run - think Magic Millions winner KARUTA QUEEN, Blue Diamond winner MIRACLES OF LIFE (the fastest winner of that race ever recorded) and Risen from Doubt who will go close in this year's Golden Slipper.


This colt is out of the winning UMATILLA mare CLOSE THE TILL who was a handy middle distance mare with three wins to 2000m to her name. Her only foal to race has notched 4 placings to date. Second dam, MORRIGAN CLARE, a full sister to G1 winner ZAPARRI (WATC Railway S. [G1]), has produced 5 winners at stud including Sydney Cup runner-up Irazu who was also placed a further 4 times over her favoured 2500m (2d Moonee Valley Gold Cup [G2]; VRC Saab H. [G3]; 3d South Australian Derby [G1]; 3d VRC Lexus S. [G3]).


By one of Australia's hottest young stallions in NOT A SINGLE DOUBT, this strong running colt looks a real sprinting 2yo. He has a powerful back-end and great muscle like all the good NOT A SINGLE DOUBT’s. The colt will be sent to the breakers in the next month or two and will be aimed at the major 2 year old races including the Blue Diamond and Golden Slipper.
