Breaker report now available! "A really lovely filly with plenty of character and good temperament.
I enjoyed breaking her in. She was quick to pick up on what was required of her and enjoyed the work. She was a pleasure to ride on the track and travelled well in her work with a nice action. Looking forward to her return to work after a spell." Toby - breaker for Muskoka.
She is in work at Warwick Farm with Group 1 trainer Gary Portelli. It would be fair to say that she has impressed all with the way she has progressed, especially after being broken in.
A winner of the Group 1 Ascot Vale Stakes down the famous Flemington straight, Northern Meteor was a horse that was surrounded by both hype and expectation during his 3 year old career. Being a descendant of Rough Shod from the family of accomplished stallions Nureyev and Sadler's Wells, and by two time champion sire Encosta De Lago, Northern Meteor was thoroughbred royalty.
The dam Single Bell, is by sensational sire and broodmare sire, Last Tycoon. As a broodmare sire, Last Tycoon is well within the top 10 most successful in Australasia, with promising Group 1 winning stallion Master Of Design, being his biggest earner.
Closely related to the likes of Group 2 Riesling Slipper winner Sunshine Sally, Group 1 Toorak Handicap winner Penghulu, and Gimcrack winner My Millie, this fillies female family has much to offer consisting of Black Type 2YO winners and Group winners in both Sydney and Melbourne.
Having such a rich female line matched up with the fastest, best looking son of Encosta De Lago at stud, certainly highlights everything you look for in an individual groomed for racetrack success!
Trainer comments: A very neat, correct filly with a good size girth, shoulder and hindquarter. By a sire that looks to be putting his good qualities into his stock, this filly is very much an athlete, just as her dad was!

The share price is inclusive of all sale expenses and upkeep until November 2012, breaking in & education cost, Lifetime Magic Millions race nomination, initial Golden Slipper and Golden Rose race nomination, and all related registration and Racing NSW syndicate fees. Death and Mortality insurance is also included until January 2013. Average upkeep per share is $35-$40 per week over the course of the year.
