14 lots into the morning of session 4 at the Magic Millions, Team Dynamic were back in the Winner's Circle when Lot 706 the Arrowfield Stud consigned Colt for a South African based owner, by Sensational Sire KINGMAN (GB) entered the ring.

Originally having been set a $200,000 reserve, a conversation earlier in the morning on day four over breakfast between Arrowfield management acting as agent for Natalma Bloodstock Ltd (the Vendor), and Team Dynamic resulted in the reserve being lowered to $160,000.

We had that amount for the horse, but truly believing that the yearling would sell for more, and their $200,000 asking price was fair, but as we had already purchased 6 yearlings, we were not keen on chasing any further purchasers.

At least at $160,000 we were comfortable at that range, and it would be great buying if it fell our way. At least it gave us a fighting hope. The Vendor also then knew they had secured a floor price.

We engineered our bidding to ensure we landed on the $160,000 call from the auctioneer and there was no counter, and the colt was knocked down our way.

They don’t come any better bred genetically than this colt and he has looks to match.

KINGMAN (GB) (Invincible Spirit) is one of the Top Sires in the World.

He stands in England for £125,000, the equivalent of AUD $225,000 at Juddmonte Farm.

Our Colt is one of just nine (9) yearlings conceived in England to Southern Hemisphere time, whose mares were sent in foal to Australia to foal down their progeny for the crop of 2022.

4 of these nine were entered into the Magic Millions catalogue.

One was withdrawn, a filly sold for $650,000, Our Colt for $160,000 whilst another colt was Passed-in at $190,000 / Reserve $200,000.

Whilst one colt was catalogued and Sold in NZ on Day 1 at Karaka for $650,000 NZD to go to Hong Kong

GENA (FR), the Dam of our Colt is by sensational French based Sire SIYOUNI (by Pivotal).

SIYOUNI is the Leading Sire in FRANCE and saw his Service Fee rise in 2024 from 150,000 euros ($246,850) to 200,000 euros ($329,108 AUD).

GENA (FR) is a regally bred mare.

GENA (FR) was a winner of 2 races, once second and 4-times 4th in 8 runs in France.

She Won over 1300m and 1600m including the Chantilly Prix de Survilliers, 2d Chantilly Prix de la Staue de Silene.
