I was thrilled to get this filly. I had inspected her as a foal at Yarraman Park and was impressed by her as a type. I syndicated her two sisters. The first Tern And Go, by Astern won her maiden recently in good style for Patrick Payne. She was a stunning filly that I purchased from the Inglis Classic Sale.


The second filly, Single Purpose, is a full sister to this filly. I purchased her privately from Yarraman Park. She was impressive recently running second in a barrier at Hawkesbury for John Thompson and looks to have good potential. John went out and purchased a Hellbent yearling after being impressed with what Single Purpose was showing him.
This filly looks more like a I Am Invincible than any other Hellbent yearling I have inspected. In fact, when I was shown her in the paddock at Yarraman Park I thought she was by I Am Invincible.


Hellbent has done a great job with three stakes horses already to his credit in his first crop. He is by I Am Invincible and, in my opinion has a big future ahead of him at stud. He was a very fast horse.


Island Pago has had two winners from three to race with our filly Tern And Go being very impressive at Geelong recently. She is out spelling and will be prepared for the spring when the tracks are less shifty.


Her other winner is a filly by I Am Invincible. I expect Single Purpose to break her maiden quickly. She is a stunning type of filly.


Some of the best horses I have been associated with were out of WA mares. They seem to throw sound, tough progeny. Unabated, Dignity Dancer, Raido and Fituese were all out of WA mares.


I have paid this filly up for the Magic Millions Series and wouldn’t be surprised to see her run early. She is very athletic. Patrick Payne was thrilled when I called to say I was sending him the filly.
