Description

Why We Loved Her ?!!?.
Only 10% left in her....
This filly covers so much ground when she walks and is just one of those fillies that seems to have a presence and attitude that screams im a good horse. Quite sensible she is extremely Nimble on her feet and whilst she isn’t a big heavy filly she is more feminine and very fluent with her walking. If you look at the photo you will see she has a lovely amount of length to her and we feel when mature she will certainly have a lot of scope about her. Take special notice of the hip and how much length is there to grow and work with..,..................
She has good consistent shape and has the right amount of bone density to her- which is very important for balance . Notice the short Pasterns and short cannons all speed indicators. I also love the fact she ha s alock hock set which is one of the key areas of power and speed as this is the pivot point in a horse
Agility. The key thing that most people will pick up when inspecting her was the most amazing fluid walk and follow through with her action. She “overstepped” by at least 20cm and again this is the sign of a

fast speed horse who is agile. For example this overstep business can be a sign of being fast and light on ones feet. You only have to look at a Panther or cheetah and watch them walk and they all have this amazing overstep. Basically to describe it its where their front foot lands you note the spot on the ground where their hind leg follows through. In this case it was a good 20cm at least which is quite rare in horses and it shows she has a good walk and propulsion from behind.Which helps provide the power

The other really pleasing factor is that we inspected id suggest 7 or 8 times and every single time she was on display at no point did she seem tired or lazy. Her attitude was amazing and in our mind she was in the Top 10 fillies of the Sale
For those who are in and around the sales each year there is a person we highly regard who has worked for the sales company’s for the past 50 years. He has a eagle eye for buying horses and in discussions with him he thought she was in the Top 10 horses in the sale. He had the following comments to say about her. “ She is not a big heavy sale horse but she is a racehorse and I guarantee in 4 months time she will look 10 times better than these horses who bring $300k. Macca as his known has brought multiple Group 1 horses and whilst he never buys many he probably has the best strike rate of anyone. When his recommendation was put on her ( it’s a very rare thing) then we where determined to buy her
Kris Lees saw her and thought she was perfect in just about everyway. Again his valuation of her was in the $80k-100k range in comparison to everything in the sale

This filly is by one of my favourite racehorses in Canford Cliffs. He was a champion overseas and was exceptional versatile and fast. His defining factor was his turn of foot. His a sire who hasn’t got much publicity in Australia but I Europe he is one of the hottest young sires with his progeny selling for over $600k. Those with us for a long time might remember we are nto a big fan of overseas horses as stallions here in Australia until proven but that we were very bullish on Street Cry horses when he was new to Australia and did exceptionally well out of them as trade horses and we feel Canford Cliffs will do the same job

Its fair to say this is the first mating that measures up on our Nicks and ratings very well and this family is a great filly family and with this cross this is the first stallion the mare has been to that is well mated and gives her a decent chance of getting a good horses

Whilst this specimen is exactly what we wanted its fair to say this photo doesn’t do the filly justice and any inspection of her will see her sell out immediately as she really is a stunning type

The filly has been paid up for the Rich Inglis Sales races race and really she is a risk to nothing with her breeding and physical traits. At the price she would be perfect for first time owners as I think she is a real runner and on pedigree and physical attributes only bad luck will stop her being a good horse
