Bay or Brown Filly (2016)

The filly has been purchased at the 2018 Magic Million Gold Coast Yearling Sale and shares are now available. She is a real athletic type with a natural walk, great scope and already has that racehorse temperament.

The Pedigree
By All Too Hard
Half-brother to the champion mare Black Caviar, All Too Hard is doing a great job in his stud career so far. He performed at the highest level as a racehorse with seven wins (three at two) from 12 starts. His Group 1wins included the All Aged Stakes and Caulfield Guineas.
He is currently the leading, second crop season sire in winners and 2nd in prize money to Pierro. His oldest progeny are 3yr olds and he has 56 winners from 125 starters this season

From Lady Primrose
Lady Primrose is an unraced More Than Ready mare and this is her first foal. Lady Primrose’s dam is the stakes winner Primrose Sands (by Zabeel) who won the listed Parramatta Cup and was 3rd to Sunline in the (Group 3 ) Turnbull Stks. She hails from the same family as Valencia, Glammis and Ethopia, who are all group winners.

The “Nick”
The filly was chosen with a keen eye on the successful cross of sire All Too Hard with More Than Ready mares (4 winners from 7 starters). Additionally we were interested in the cross through her 2nd Dam (Primrose Sands by Zabeel). This All Too Hard cross with Zabeel on the female line has already produced All Too Hard’s best performer to date – Demonetization, Group 2 winner in New Zealand and favourite for the NZ Derby.
Latest Update
This filly has broken in beautifully and has already had a stint in Ed O"Rourkes stable at Randwick. She is due back in to Edward O’Rourke’s at next week

Edward O’Rourke (Randwick)
This BOBS nominated filly will be trained by Group 1 winning trainer Edward O’Rourke at Randwick. Edward is a highly regarded, up and coming trainer who previously worked as Senior Stable Foreman for Gai Waterhouse and most recently Assistant Trainer to Michael Freedman, where he put the finishing touches on Teaspoon (1st 2017 Sweet Embrace G2) and Frolic (2nd in the 2017 Golden Slipper G1). We have strategically chosen Edward to train the filly at his world class Randwick stables due to his talent as a quality horseman and attention to detail enabling his horses to reach their highest potential. Edward also shares our commitment to owners through his clear and regular communication strategies and open-stable approach.

he Selection Process - Dave Mee from PBI (FBAA).
Dave Mee and our team underwent vigorous inspections of hundreds of yearlings at the 2018 Magic Millions Sale and we took home this filly as she was a clear stand out in terms of quality and value. Dave has bought and sold over 900 horses, valued at over $29 million, which has resulted in hundreds of winners in eight different countries. Most notably Dave has played a role in selecting numerous stakes winners in Australia (Rocket Commander, Choice Bro), Hong Kong (Go Baby Go, Express Win), Gr 1 winners in Macau (Elderly Paradise, Master of Puppets) and Singapore/Malaysia (Mystic Power). Dave thoughts on the filly are shown in the video - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5KPiRziGenU&feature=youtu.be https://youtu.be/5KPiRziGenU
