Al Maher

Al Maher is a high class son of Danehill out of a very good female line. He won the Group 1 Australian Guineas which is a race that has produced a number of successful stallions. Al Maher has done a terrific job at stud and is a close relative of champion sire Redoute's Choice.

Al Maher has already seven stakes winners from 79 winners which is an excellent effort. Very few stallions go close to getting 10% of their winners as stakes winners. As well as this he has a further 9 stakes placed horses which sees him having in excess of 20% of his winners being stakes horses. This is an exceptional effort for such a young horse.

Al Maher is currently 5th on the third season list behind High Chaparral, Fastnet Rock, Shamardal and Not A Single Doubt.

Primary Vision

Primary Vision is by the highly under rated stallion Strategic. He is a very good horse and one of Australia's most consistent sires. Primary Vision has done a good job at stud with the very good filly Follow The Till being her best to race. Primary Vision hails from a very strong female line that has given us the Group 1 Coolmore Stakes winner Regal Cheer as well as numerous stakes winners including the Group 1 winners Razor Blade, Super Elegant, Robian Steel, and of course Regal Cheer.

This mating with Al Maher is a very good one and the resultant foal is outstanding.

The Filly

The filly is a real athlete. She has great conformation with a terrific hind quarter and shoulder. She gets around beautifully and looks like a runner. I wouldn't be surprised to see her run as a two year old.

She really impressed me at the Premier sale and I was prepared to wait for her to go through the ring as I was very keen to secure her for my clients. I wanted her in my colours and can't wait for her to race.
