Another Dollar seeks revenge in Qld Oaks

Friday 25 May 2018, 1:16pm

Glyn Schofield isn't ruling out Another Dollar avenging a defeat to stablemate Youngstar when the duo renew their rivalry in the Group One Queensland Oaks.

The jockey is feeling upbeat with Another Dollar after she drew barrier two in contrast to her gate 12 in the Group Two Roses (2000m) at Doomben.

Youngstar was the only runner to get the better of her in that race and Schofield is confident she could bridge the gap over 2200m.

"Now she has a soft gate so she could turn the tables on the favourite," he said.

Waller conceded it would have been fascinating had the roles been reversed for Youngstar and Another Dollar in The Roses.

"She would have made it interesting had she had Youngstar's run last start because she did a lot of work," he said.
