Jason Coyle's long-term plans for White Moss move a step closer to fruition when the mare heads to Hawkesbury.

The four-year-old has been set for the Tatt's Tiara at Doomben since securing black-type last spring, and Coyle was confident she was on track to nab a Group One at the end of the Queensland winter carnival.

Claiming the Group Three Nivison at Randwick last October brought the 1350m Tatt's Tiara for fillies and mares into focus for the Warwick Farm-based trainer, and with only one blemish in Melbourne on her record, June 23 is prominent on Coyle's calendar.

White Moss ramped up her Tatt's Tiara quest with a game third in the Group Two Sapphire Stakes (1200m) at Randwick on day one of The Championships, the grey's first run since a misfiring 12th in the Group Three HKJC Stakes (1400m) at Flemington in November.

The Group Three Godolphin Crown (1300m) on Saturday fits neatly into her program with Coyle expecting an impressive showing before they hopefully head to Scone for the Group Three Dark Jewel Classic (1400m) on May 12.

"She's coming off a really strong performance in the Sapphire first-up and doesn't have to improve much to be pretty competitive in the Crown," he said.

White Moss got back into the groove after a spell and two trials by hitting the line two lengths adrift of the Darren Weir-trained Quilista in the Sapphire Stakes.

"She'll take improvement from that run and then hopefully jag a start in in the Dark Jewel. From there we'll probably go straight to Brisbane," Coyle said.

"We can space her runs a bit to get there and based on her form, she's right up to that class. Her record speaks for itself."

White Moss attempts to extend her perfect second-up record when she jumps from from barrier eight in the capacity field of 14 with Jason Collett.

Coyle also saddles up mare Siren's Fury in the Blakes Marine Handicap (1300m) if she does not get a run as the second emergency for the Godolphin Crown.

Gelding Nat King Cu will make the 65th start of his career in either the Group Three Hawkesbury Gold Cup (1600m) or the Hawkesbury Gazette Handicap (1500m), where stablemate No Interest is listed to run.
