Precieuse set for Royal Ascot raid

Thursday 25 May 2017, 6:33pm

French 1000 Guineas winner Precieuse will next run in either the Coronation Stakes or the Prix de Diane.

She would need to be supplemented for the Royal Ascot race, while if she stays in France it would mean a step up in trip at Chantilly on June 18.

"She will either go for the Prix de Diane over 10 furlongs, or there's a chance she could stay at a mile and go to Royal Ascot for the Coronation," said trainer Fabrice Chappet.

"I think she'll stay 10 furlongs as she's a very relaxed filly - nothing is telling me she won't, anyway.

"I will talk to the owners and make a decision but the filly is in great shape.

"She has come out of the race in great form and there is certainly plenty to look forward to."
