Monday 20 February 2017, 3:31pm

Trainer John Zielke hopes to mark his completed move to Toowoomba with a win by two-year-old Ruby Red Heart and an open day at his new stables.

Zielke set a record for the number of juvenile winners in Queensland with 15 last season.

He was based at Caloundra but has since moved his operation to Toowoomba where his complex was finished recently.

Zielke has carried on his good for with youngsters and will start plunge debut winner Ruby Red Heart at Doomben on Saturday.

Ruby Red Heart was backed from $5.50 to $2.20 before winning at Doomben last Saturday week.

"I have a lot of time for Ruby Red Heart and she lived up to the wraps I have on her by winning her first start," Zielke said.

"It is the first two-year-old of the season over 1350 metres at Doomben on Saturday. I think she can win and then come back for races like the BRC Sires Produce in the winter."

Ruby Red Heart is also likely to tackle the Group Two Champagne Classic and the Group One J J Atkins Stakes during the winter.

"I really believe she could be a once in a lifetime horse," Zielke said.

He believes the filly will eventually be effective over 1600 metres.

He has an open day at his stables in Toowoomba on March 4 to showcase his new operation.
