Scott Perrin has resigned as chief executive of Racing.com which broadcasts Victorian racing via its digital and free-to-air platforms.

Perrin, who oversaw the launch of Racing.com from June 2015, tendered his resignation on Monday.

Racing.com chairman, David Moodie, made the announcement on Monday afternoon and thanked Mr Perrin for his service over the past 15 months.

"... I wish to thank Scott for his great service and acknowledge his efforts in leading the development, launch and consolidation of Australian sport's only dedicated 24/7 free-to-air television channel," Moodie said.

"During his tenure, Scott has overseen the expansion of Racing.com from a digital platform into an integrated media business with strong commercial partnerships and a talented team of broadcasters and journalists with an increasing female presence."

Racing.com is jointly funded by its partner racing clubs, Country Racing Victoria and Racing Victoria.
