Winx remains top of world horse rankings

Winx remains on top of the World's Best Racehorse rankings after her Doncaster Mile win.

The latest rankings, which include performances up until last Sunday, have Winx sharing top billing with Dubai World Cup winner California Chrome.

Japanese star Maurice is one of four horses next in the rankings following his win in the Champions Mile in Hong Kong.

The others include Werther, winner of the QEII Cup at Sha Tin, and Kentucky Derby hero Nyquist.

Chautauqua is equal seventh to be the highest-ranked sprinter.
