Song Of Tara has never been a commercial stallion but his progeny have clicked with trainer Kevin Moses, including No Wine No Song, winner of the 2008 Sydney Cup.

Moses will go to Warwick Farm on Wednesday with three runners, two by Song Of Tara who serves a small group of mares each season at his owner Joe O'Gara's Tobermory Stud.

Song And Laughter, a sister to recent McKell Cup runner-up Singing Flame, goes back to midweek grade after two consecutive Saturday seconds.

She runs in the Liverpool City Council Hcp (1600m) while Tara Dreaming will be one of the few from the Song Of Tara family line to begin his career as a two-year-old in the TAB Place Multi Plate (1400m).

"Song And Laughter is dropping down in class and going up an extra furlong (200m) which will suit her," Moses said.

"She doesn't mind a wet track. Obviously she has to carry weight because she is coming down from Saturday to Wednesday class but I'm pleased with her and she has Koby's allowance."

Koby Jennings will take three kilograms off Song And Laughter's 60kg with the mare to start from barrier four.

Adam Hyeronimus rides Tara Dreaming who has had two barrier trials leading into his debut.

"He's run last in both his trials so I don't really know what he can do but he has to start somewhere," Moses said.

"I don't think many of the Song Of Taras have raced at two.

"He is a very big horse with a lot to learn and this is a part of his education."

Purity Miss has run three second places from 10 starts including her latest effort when runner-up to Bit Of Cheek at Hawkesbury on June 7 on a soft track.

"She has been placed in the wet but I'm not sure it's her best surface so hopefully it's not too soft," Moses said.
