In recent times the Australian yearling market has been dictated to by buyers in search of juvenile speed. Way Off is a stallion that gives mare owners all the ingredients to satiate the desires of potential owners and trainers.

As a winner of the Listed JF Meynink Stakes at 2YO, Way Off, proved himself to have genuine speed. His promising career was unfortunately hindered by incidental injury in the lead up to the Magic Millions 2YO that year. He showed his terrific temperament to recover and run at 4YO but was never the same on track performer.

By Way Of Light, himself a 2YO Gr.1 Winner, Way Off owns a most impressive pedigree for those in search of precocity. He counts as close relations Golden Slipper winners Ha Ha and Rory's Jester. Ha Ha was the winner of one of the most memorable Slippers in recent memory whilst Rory's Jester went on to establish himself as a Champion Sire and elite source of speed.

The Way Off family is not one that could be considered stagnant by any means. Recent stakes horses to feature in his pedigree include Serious Speed and Miss Gai Flyer.
