Tete de la Course enters stud in 2011 at a time when his sire, Galileo, is the hottest in the world.

Galileo is at the time of writing the sire of 24 Gr.1 winners and nearly 100 stakes winners. As a result he has had a spate of well credentialled sons retire to stud in recent years.

Tete de la Course is a son of the Perugino mare, Tuscan Twist which makes him inbred 3x3 to the Sangster family's iconic blue hen mare Fairy Bridge. Tuscan Twist is the daughter of the listed winner Spanglet who descends from a family rich in black type.
