Stud Comments
A grandson of Mr Prospector, Oamaru Force presents as a fantastic outcross to Northern Dancer blood!A winner of 6 of 14 career starts over the sprinting distances, Oamaru Force saluted in 3 stakes races. He won the Gr.3 AJC The Shorts (1100m) at Randwick and the Listed STC Starlight Stakes (1100m) at Canterbury. In both of these races Oamaru Force set race and course records. His other black type race win was the Listed VRC Schweppes 3YO Handicap (1100m) at Flemington. He also won at Caulfield (1100m), Sandown (1000m) and Bendigo (1000m).
Oamaru Force has had an auspicious start to his stud career. His first foal to hit the racetrack was exciting sprinter Diplomatic Force who has gone on to win two group races. He has since produced two very good horses, Mid Summer Music who won the Group 1 Stradbroke Handicap and was already a dual Group 3 winner and the stakes winner Rocking Force.
At an affordable price there are few horses in the country that has the ability to get a horse of such quality.
