More Ready is a filly with a pedigree who has shown she can gallop, having won a jump-out at Flemington.
The jump outs although not official trials are hotly competed events. They are often the preferred to public trials for the "locals" who include Darley, Mark Kavanagh, Ellerton/Zahra, Lindsay Park, Danny O'Brien and Malua Racing to name a few. Winning a jump-out there for an unraced horse is very good sign.
This filly is by the Champion Sire More Than Ready. More Than Ready may best be known for his two year olds but it is quickly forgotten that many excel at three and beyond. One of Australia's best, More Joyous, is just one of these.
More Ready is out of the Group 1 SAJC Oaks placed Zenarta. Not only was she Group 1 placed but she was also Group 2 placed in the time honoured VRC Wakeful run on Derby Day. Oaks performed mares have produced some of the best racehorses in recent years including Tuesday Joy and Darci Brahma to name just two.
This filly is owned by one of the countries most prominent owners who is demands early indication of group level performance. She looks perfectly suited to trainers/owners interstate looking to get a nice filly.
