Description

Coolidge (Red Element x Vermont Eagle) is a 3 times placed half-sister to the six time city winning and multiple stakes-placed mare Sino Eagle. Another half sibling, Rectifier, has won five races at Rockhampton from his 12 starts.
Coolidge has had 13 starts for three placings in country Victoria including a close-up third at Geelong. In her most recent campaign of ten starts she had a second, two thirds, a fourth and three fifths. Two failures were on Heavy tracks. She can handle Soft going but performs best on firm surfaces.
Coolidge was a late foal and will not physically turn four until the end of October. Sino Eagle did not race until late in her 3yo year so improvement with further maturity could reasonably be expected. She is sound and healthy and has this week (3rd week of August) gone to the paddock in Warrnambool, Victoria.
There is no doubt that even at her current level she can win races in Victoria. Some interstate districts could see her become a very good money spinner. And she is also a valuable broodmare prospect, particularly if she manages to win races.
She is fully paid up for Magic Millions. There is a 1,200M Maiden of $250k on January 14 at the Gold Coast. The timing would be perfect for a throw at the stumps after a break!
