Description

*About*
Typhoon Tango has everything going for her: breeding, temperament and conformation. This two year old black type filly is a strong, solid type. Confident, sure of herself and eager to please she is an absolute pleasure to handle. Furthermore, she is blessed with excellent conformation, which as any thoroughbred enthusiast knows, is one of the key indicators for being able to judge a potential winner. She is the ultimate package: breeding, temperament and conformation.

This two year old filly is an outstanding example of the type of progeny her sire, Change in the Weather, is capable of producing. Change in the Weather (USA) from Gone West, was a 2 year old group 1 winner himself and has an exceptional strike rate of 68% winners to runners in the US. Typhoon Tango is from his first crop in Australia, which are impressing owners and trainers alike.

*Latest News on Relatives*
Cyclone Kan is the most recent example in Australia of impressive Change in the Weather progeny. Cyclone Kan won again on Thursday (17/04/2014) in Townsville's QTIS two-year old 1000m handicap by a length. This was on the back of his excellent run in the SKY RACING QTIS Two-Years-Old Handicap on Tuesday (01/04/2014) in the same city by 3.3 lengths - the fastest 1200m time for the day.

*Latest News on Progress*
Typhoon Tango has now started with Tom Bourke on the Sunshine Coast and is now just about to enter her first prep after being broken and settling in to her new life in the racing stables at Caloundra. Tom advises that after a short spell of two weeks she will be ready for her first prep - "because of her size this filly could almost go straight into her first prep" it is certainly true that at 461kg she isn't small for a filly of this age.

*Part of the team*
We have bred this filly ourselves and with our small group of lease shareholders look forward to the fun and excitement of seeing her perform on the track. If you would like to join a group of like-minded people and, even better, are locals looking forward to attending the races in South East Queensland we would certainly like to hear from you.

*Conditions*
Lease conditions apply (15% to owner): all start up fees (breaking etc.) have been covered by the owner, only regular payments due for running costs ($70/week flat rate per 15% lease share). A great, fun and cost effective way to get into racing with a group of like-minded people. We are currently trying to finalise these shares and have only 15% (1 share) to finalise.
