Description

Opportunities like More Than Fair don't come around very often. Where else can you buy a half sister to a champion sire and two time Golden Slipper Producer in MORE THAN READY!!!! Most importantly she is in foal to one of Australia's hottest up and coming stallions in Smart Missile!!!

Smart Missile's averaged $180k at the Gold Coast and there were 33 sold, the highest lost selling for $700k, $400, $300, $280, $140, $150, $280, $260, $190, $330, $180, $150, $280, $170, $180, $200, $150, $180!!!

Such amazing figures for a first season sire, the buyers really backed Smart Missile with their money as one of the leading freshman sires this season, they were even secured by the Hong Kong Jockey Club who historically only ever buy proven sires, never first season sires so that was another feather in his cap. They have made their way into every good trainers stable in the country, so his service fee of $20,000 wont be at that figure for much longer. There are also 25 Smart Missiles entered for Easter, so no doubt he will be adding to his already impressive sale statistics.

More Than Fair is only 9, she turns 10 this coming season. She is certainly a young well bred mare that leaves a really nice yearling (as shown in the attached photos). The beauty with her is that you have the next ten years to breed and race from such a lovely young mare. She was given a year off last year and will have an early September foal for the lucky new owner early in the 2015 breeding season.

More Than Ready is clearly one of Australia's best proven stallions. He had incredible speed himself, winning 5 races at 2. He has certainly thrown that precocity into his stock and in Australia has been a dominant two year old sire for the past 6-8 seasons. He has sired two Golden Slipper Winners in Sebring and Phelan Ready, he has also sired a further 13 Group 1 winners.

The pedigree also continues to excel in America with Stephanie's Kitten now a three time Group 1 winner of over $2.4million in prize money by Kittens Joy. So the pedigree is certainly littered with quality stakes winners throughout. There is no doubt that this resultant progeny will get you into any sale in the country.

More Than Fair's yearling last year was a ripper, she failed to sell in Melbourne for $120,000. So the owner was happy to retain her to race and then breed from her down the track. As you can tell from the photo, she was well above average, however Wanted fillies were especially difficult to sell last season as he hadn't left a two year old winner by the time the Melbourne Premier Sale came around. She was a lovely weanling and was sold for $80k as a weanling, so the family certainly has popularity.

Like all my mares on Bloodstock.com.au they don't last very long online with some very happy customers recently, so if you interested please email or contact me anytime.

Inspections are welcome, but she is a sound mare with a great nature, so the first to inspect again will purchase immediately.

All the best.
