Out of former Victorian Broodmare of the Year Tennessee Blaze, Tiger Tess is, like The Cat, a rich chestnut with a white blaze and a couple of socks. She is a neat, compact mare with a very even temperament - much like her mum. Solid and plenty of muscle, Tennessee has thrown some good city class horses like Tiger Belle (also dam of the very fast horses Piece of the Sky and Liger) and Raptor as well as the outstanding champion Apache Cat. So taking after her mum is not a bad thing - it's a great family on the rise (young horses by Dubawi, Street Cry, Street Sense. Lonhro, Hard Spun).
