Authoritative is a young mare, with a terrific pedigree and a great brood mare potential.


Authoritative's dam is the well credentialed race mare and listed winner RECCE, who won four races to 1300 metres and more than $100,000. RECCE is the dam of GRAND REVE (Authoritative's half brother). GRAND REVE won six races and more than $300,000. He won the listed BTC Chief de Beers Quality and was runner up to GOLD EDITION on three occasions, including the Gold Coast Magic Millions 3 YO Trophy, the Group 3 BTC Classic, and the Gold Coast Guineas (now a Group 3 race). GRAND REVE now stands as a stallion.


Authoritative is by the popular stallion COMMANDS, sire of PURPLE, UNDUE, PARATROOPERS, RUSSETING, etc. COMMANDS is a full brother to DANEWIN, sire of THESEO, COUNTY TYRONE, etc
