Description
UPDATE: 19 Feb 2010
She has weaned her De Beers colt and enjoying the independence without junior at Kiah Glenn, Macclesfield in a lovely paddock.
Grey Deceiver won 4 races on the track from 1200 to 1400. She has an outstanding athletic, correct conformation.
An appealing pedigree. Commands is by Danehill from the family of Eight Carat (Octagonal, Tristalove, Danewin etc) and is highly commercial.
Her 3rd dam is TAHNEE's PRIDE (a jewell of the stud book) that makes her closely related to Shogun Lodge ($4.6M), Referral ($1.4M) and the NZ Champion filly Lashed.
Her 2009 colt foal by De Beers is a cracking type and will be retained. He is being weaned presently and she will be available for new owners - to prepare for an early cover - from 01 March 2010.
People are realizing what a terrific cross the Eight Carat cross is especially since the promise we have seen in Fair Trade, plus his close relation Viscount having had such a good season with the likes of Neroli winning the G1 Queen of the Turf and Rocket Man being a superstar in Singapore.
Lovely nature and very good mum. No vices or issues.
We are dispersing our mares with the intention of buying a SW/SP mare at the forthcoming broodmare sales.
